Correct shifter base model depends on OE configuration of the transmission (per source vehicle). For TR6060 there are at least six versions - all are unique and not interchangeable without major work. In most cases our swap base simply mounts at 'port of entry' (where OE linkage enters trans) which may be very different from your old shifter location - measure & study before you buy!
BK5 Conversion Kit, TR-6060 2009-2019 to Magnum.
- Most GM models (Camaro etc) - OE remote linkage cover on main case (forward port) is replaced by a direct mount base at that location
- Cadillac CTS-V - lacks any direct mount provision, must be reconfigured (swap to Challenger tail or convert to forward port)
- Corvette - remote linkage along torque tube to rear transaxle; special base available for swaps involving entire Corvette driveline
- Challenger - OE remote linkage cover on tailhousing is replaced by a direct mount base at that location. Base bolt pattern is unique to this model
- Viper - OE shifter base on tailhousing is simply replaced
- Mustang GT500 - OE remote linkage cover on main case (forward port) is replaced by a direct mount base at that location
- Falcon FG (Australian) - OE shifter base on tailhousing is simply replaced
